- Open S-Drive Configuration tab, UpdateSDriveObjectsPage will be opened automatically. You can also open this page from S-Drive Configuration Tab –> General Settings Section –> Click Here to Update S-Drive Objects Link.
- Check all “Set Fields” checkboxes and click “Update” button.
- For using myDrive folders, there are also some configurations to be made:
- First is to configure the sharing settings of “MyS3Object” which is the object used in myDrive folders. From Setup > Security > Sharing Settings page, click on Edit button and then edit the settings for MyS3Object as described below:
- Default Internal Access -> Private
- Default External Access ->Private
- Grant Access Using Hierarchies -> Disabled
Setting an object to Private makes records visible to record owners (and those above them in the role hierarchy, if the Grant Access Using Hierarchies setting is Enabled).
- Second is to make new S-Drive tab visible in S-Drive package.
- You need to delete the old S-Drive tab from Setup > User Interface > Tabs. In this page scroll down to Lightning Component Tabs, and delete the S-Drive tab.
- Setup > Apps > App Manager. From this page choose S-Drive and click Edit and Choose the Tabs to display.
- First is to configure the sharing settings of “MyS3Object” which is the object used in myDrive folders. From Setup > Security > Sharing Settings page, click on Edit button and then edit the settings for MyS3Object as described below:
- If you would like to use S-Drive Versioning feature, open S-Drive Configuration tab and click Enable Versioning button to activate version upload feature.
Important Note: If you enable versioning you can’t disable it later. - Note that Preview & Thumbnail feature will be auto enabled for S-Drive Folders (S3Object), and for myDrive Folders(MyS3Object), and Preview & Thumbnail will be generated for your future uploads to S-Drive Folders in 2.1. You can disable this feature from S-Drive Configuration Tab. You can also check Preview & Thumbnail conversion pricing here.
- Now you can create folders, upload files and also use versioning feature with your custom objects using S-Drive 2.1.
